Buffalo Bills Odds: The Bills Have the NFL's Best Odds to Have a Perfect Season
It's not NFL season quite yet but there are plenty of futures options for football bettors to dive into during the summer.
One of the more lucrative futures bets that you can place is for the Buffalo Bills to have a perfect regular season and go 17-0. Only the 1934 Chicago Bears, 1942 Chicago Bears, 1972 Miami Dolphins, and 2007 New England Patriots have been able to accomplish this feat. Are the Bills next in line in 2022?
Odds to Have A Perfect NFL Season
Team | Odds |
---|---|

Tampa Bay Buccaners | +3500 |
Green Bay Packers | +4000 |
Los Angeles Rams | +4000 |
Kansas City Chiefs | +5000 |
Buffalo Bill Schedule
The Bills weren't dealt an easy schedule this season. The Bills will literally take on the former Super Bowl Champions in Week 1 of the regular season.
The dream could be finished in Week 1. They'll have to take on the Titans, Dolphins, Ravens, Steelers, and Chiefs after the Rams game before their bye week on Week 7.
After that, the Bills continue playing higher-quality teams like the Packers, Vikings, and Patriots. Of course, the Bills will have to play the Patriots, Jets, and Dolphins twice this season.
You can make an argument that every team in the AFC East has improved. The Dolphins could ultimately challenge the Bills along with the Patriots this season.
Buffalo Bills Additions
The Bills fell short of a Super Bowl appearance last season after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in an overtime shootout. The Bills belong in the playoffs and they'll be good enough to get there again this season.
The Bills made some new additions to their roster that can help them get to the Super Bowl with Josh Allen under center.
The Bills brought in Jamison Crowder to play in the slot and added O.J. Howard is the second tight end of the group. The Dolphins also added running back James Cook from Georgia in the NFL Draft and it's looking like he will make a real impact for the team this season. Wide receiver, Khalil Shakir could also make a solid impact at receiver as a rookie for the Bills.
The Bills also expect Gabriel Davis to finally have a breakout campaign after finishing last season off with a bang.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Bills added Von Miller as a defensive end and are healthy in the secondary. The Bills will be looking for big things from Kaiir Elam at the cornerback position opposite of Tre'Davious White.
The Conclusion
The Bills are going to be a playoff team. But their schedule is going to be really hard despite all of the playmaking on their team.
On a Thursday to start Week 1, the Bills could absolutely end up losing to the Rams. That would kill the fun in September.
Obviously, I wouldn't recommend making this bet. It's happened four times in the history of the NFL dating back to the 1930s.
You'd just be giving away money. Worry about straight bets and have a long-term approach to betting. Stop trying to win the lottery!
