2021 British Open Odds

The final major of the 2021 golf season is upon us as we head to England for the British Open. It’s been an eventful major season already with Hideki Matsuyama’s memorable victory at the Masters, Phil Mickelson’s record-breaking win at the PGA Championship and Jon Rahm’s breakthrough last month at the US Open. Who will write themselves into the history books this week at the 2021 British Open?

Looking at the British Open odds and there’s one man at the top of every list; the defending US Open champion Jon Rahm. Jon Rahm backed up his first major success last month with a good preparation for the British Open last weekend at the Scottish Open where he finished just two shots off the lead.

There’s no golfer in better form heading to the British Open and Jon Rahm’s British Open odds reflect that. PointsBet offer the best British Open odds on Jon Rahm at +900 ($100 wager wins $900), but he is as low as +650 with other sportsbooks, these are the lowest odds for a favorite in a major in 2021.

Brooks Koepka and Rory McIlroy are the biggest challengers to Rahm according to the bookmakers. Bet365 offer best British Open odds of +1800 for both Koepka and McIlroy, but once again, these are the best odds by quite some way, especially as some books offer odds as low as +1100 on McIlroy.

Other notable British Open odds: Dustin Johnson +2000, Jordan Spieth +2000, Bryson DeChambeau +3300 and Phil Mickelson +10000.
