WGC FedEx St. Jude Odds: Justin Thomas & Collin Morikawa Among Betting Favorites

2021 WGC FedEx St. Jude Invitational Odds
It's safe to say golf at the Olympics has been a smash hit, as we were all glued to the TV over the weekend to watch Xander Schauffele take the gold medal. There's a couple of events to keep an eye on this week, the PGA Tour heads to the Barracuda Championship, the European Tour have the Hero Open in Scotland, but the main event is the WGC FedEx St. Jude Invitational.
The WGC FedEx St. Jude Invitational has a major feel to it, with forty-eight of the top fifty players in the world heading to Memphis to play for $10.5 million.
Unfortunately, Jon Rham is missing the event after withdrawing from the Olympics due to COVID-19, his withdrawal has really thrown open the top of the WGC FedEX St. Jude Invitational odds board.
As you can imagine with so many of the worlds best playing in the event, the WGC odds board is pretty congested at the top of the market.
Players such as Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka will all be popular in the betting.
As you can see by our WGC FedEx St Jude odds board, Brooks Koepka has been installed as the betting favorite, but is closely followed by Colin Morkiawa and Xander Schauffele who are both at +1400.
Justin Thomas has opened up at +1600, however, given his course history, we expect his odds to shorten before we tee-off on Thursday, and become one of the betting favorites alongside Morikawa.
Louis Oosthuizen's odds to win the WGC FedEx St Jude Invitational stand-out to me. He's one of the most in-form players in the world, and it's a course which requires strong approach and putting. His odds might also shorten over time.
