Honda Classic Odds: Billy Horschel the Bettors' Favorite To Win

Honda Classic Odds: Billy Horschel the Bettors' Favorite To Win
Bettors came so close to another win last week. Collin Morikawa, a loser by just 2 strokes, was the bettors second favorite to win the event. It’s been a nice run for bettors, after pegging the winner of the Phoenix Open the week before. Now they have their eyes set on Billy Horschel.
It’s been a while since Horschel won a stroke play event. You have to go back to 2017. That isn’t deterring bettors though. Horschel has seen 6.6% of bets placed on him to win the event, most on the market. Oddsmakers like him to, he’s fourth on the market at +2200 or an implied 4.3% chance to win.

In fact, bettors love the favorites in this year’s Honda Classic. The oddsmakers’ favorite is Sungjae Im at +1300, and he’s seen 4.6% of bets. That puts him 3rd on the betting market. Alex Noren is second with 4.9% of bets, and oddsmakers have him 9th at +3500.
Bettors do have their favorite longshots though. Namely, CT Pan and Aaron Wise. Pan is fourth on the betting market with 3.9% of bets placed, but he’s given +7000 odds to win the event. Meanwhile, Wise is fifth on the market with 3.8% of bets, and he’s given +5000 odds.
Bettors are riding a hot streak here. Picking out a winner and then a runner up at back to back events. This time they’re backing Horschel, with Imand Noren not to far behind. Will the hot streak continue, or are bettors about to hit a wall with the usual suspects not taking part in the Honda Classic?
