Yesterday, Tiger Woods confirmed that he will be participating in the 2022 Masters this week. It's his first event since his December of 2020 back surgery and while he may not be the player he once was before all these injuries, he is still an incredibly polarizing figure in the sport.

Bettors couldn't wait to place their wagers on Tiger Woods this week. When looking at the Masters odds, he has fairly long odds but that didn't stop anyone from trying to cash in with the most electrifying golfer in the sport.

Tiger Woods is the second most popular Top 10 finish bet for this year's masters. Let's take a look at the betting data.

Tiger Woods +500 (Bet $100 to win $500)

Back in 2019, Tiger Woods won at Augusta which locked in his 15th major in his historic career. A whopping 14% of the bets and 13% of the handle is on Tiger Woods to finish in the top 10 in this event. The only golfer with more love from the public is Bryson DeChambeau.

Tiger's won the Masters five times in his career and he's finished in the top 10 an impressive 14 times in his career. Granted, the last time we saw Tiger Woods at the Masters he finished tied for 38th and as we well know he's only participated in four of the last eight Masters.

Tiger Woods brings nostalgia. From 1997 through 2010 he was the best golfer in the world and would put on a show week after week. Injuries have robbed us of Tiger Woods far too often in the last 10 years or so. If he stays healthy, which is a big if, can he put on another Masters show?

He's +500 to finish in the top 10 and if you are feeling a little bit more confident, you can get him at +1000 (Bet $100 to win $1000) to finish top five or +5000 (Bet $100 to win $5000) to win outright.
