Rory McIlroy US Open Odds Breakdown

It was a good day for Rory McIlroy as he finished tied for the lead at three-under-par. According to the US Open odds, McIlroy now has nearly a 19% chance of winning the US Open after his impressive first round.

McIlroy had a bogey on 18 which left him tied for the lead but he finds himself in a good position for that fifth major that he's been looking for ever since the 2014 PGA Championship.

Rory has been impressive in 2022. He finished second at Augusta in the Masters Tournament and eighth in the PGA Championship. In fact, in three of his last four majors, he's finished inside the top 10.

McIlroy has to make sure to keep his steady lay going into the rest of the tournament but so far so good for Rory at the US Open.
