Max Homa Open Championship Odds +5000 (Bet $100 to win $5000)
You have to scroll a little bit down the Open Championship odds but once you find Max Homa, he is at +5000 to win the British Open. He would be considered a longshot but with his recent play we saw a shift in the odds heading into this event.
Homa has been a little inconsistent this year. At times he looks really good and then other times, he's just taken a step way back. For example, he shot a +14 at the Masters as he finished tied for 48th but then a few weeks later he won the Wells Fargo Championship shooting a -8.
In the two other majors this year he finished tied for 13 at the PGA Championship and then tied for 47 at the US Open where he was +9. Which version of Homa will we see this week?
It's hard to tell but the oddsmakers for the Open Championship odds have been much keener on him in recent days than they previously were. Perhaps he can carry the momentum over from the Scottish Open and if he does, perhaps he is an interesting longshot play after all.
