3M Open Projected Cut Line - Top Golfer Probability
Cameron Tringale - 9.4%
Not exactly the Friday that Tringale was looking for at the 3M Open. At one point, his odds to make the cut line where over 57%. Now, he's down below 10%. Tringale needed to just play at under par on Friday and he's E through 17 and staring a MC in the face.
Chez Reavie - 23.4%
Reavie actually played well on Friday at the 3M Open, but it looks like he's still going to miss the cut at +2 on the day. Reavie had a double bogey on hole No. 2 but played the final 16 holes at 4-under par. Unfortunately, it looks like it won't be enough.
Camilo Villegas - 52.3%
Villegas, like Tringale, is just playing even-par golf on Friday. However, the +1 score he posted on Thursday looks like it might be good enough to carry him to the weekend. Villegas just needs to hover at the +1 mark and he'll be making the 3M Open cut line.
Adam Svensson - 51.3%
Svensson has not teed off yet to this point, but the algorithm likes his chances despite a +2 on Thursday. Svensson was a massively popular pick to win the 3M Open outright and he's still in play to do that if he can give a really strong round on Friday and clear the cut line by a fair amount.
Sahith Theegala - 55.5%
Like Svensson, Theegala still hasn't teed off on Friday for his second round of the 3M Open but he has the best chance of anyone on this list to make the +1 3M Open cut line. At just 24 years old, Theegala is one of the best promising young golfers on tour and should be able to navigate through this field relatively well.
