LIV Golf Rumors: Which Golfers Will be Joining LIV Next?
Since LIV Golf's inception in June 2022, fans and media alike have wondered if the tour will stick around...and so far, so good. The Public Investment Fund (the Saudia Arabian sovereign wealth fund) has what seems like an unlimited budget as the tour has convinced the likes of Phil Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson, and Sergio Garcia, and Brooks Koepka to make the switch from the PGA Tour.
Meanwhile, the PGA Tour initially suspended any golfer who joined LIV from participating in any PGA Tour event, including majors. However, golfers won an appeal that allowed them to compete in majors for the time being.
As the PGA's sanctions wind down and the high money offers to keep coming from the LIV, golfers will at the very least pick up the phone to listen to CEO Greg Norman and co.
