BMW Championship Odds and Preview: Will Zalatoris is 16/1 Off of FedEx St. Jude Championship Win
The FedEx Cup Playoffs roll right along as the field was trimmed from 125 to 70 for the BMW Championship. After this round, we will see the field dwindle down to 30.
Last year, we saw Patrick Cantlay take home the win at this event but with a wide-open field in 2022, it's anybody's game. Unfortunately, some familiar names will be missing out with Tommy Fleetwood and Cameron Smith not expected to go due to injury.
In the BMQ Championship, we should see some pretty gaudy numbers. Six of the past seven winners have reached 20-under par or better. Last year's winner, Patrick Cantlay finished 27-under.

BMW Championship Odds Breakdown
The favorite for the 2022 BMW Championship is Rory McIlroy. After finishing third in the Open Championship, Rory looked awful last week in the FedEx St. Jude Championship as he missed the cut after shooting a 70 and 69 in the first two rounds.
Last year's winner, Patrick Cantlay is also towards the top at +1400. Cantlay has played pretty well this year at times as he won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans and has 10 top-10 finishes in 18 events played.
Two others to note, both at +1600 are Will Zalatoris and Scottie Scheffler. Both will be popular bets this week as Zalatoris is coming off a big win and Scheffler is...well, Scottie Scheffler.
