The Match 2022 Odds: Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas Given 52% Chance to Beat Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy

Over the past few years, we've had the chance to see a new type of competitive golf with The Match. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson started The Match as a way to form fantasy golf matchups and it's been a success ever since. This time around, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas take on Rory McIlroy and The GOAT, Tiger Woods. And, of course, we've gotten The Match odds.

The Match started in 2018 with a match-play event featuring Tiger Woods vs. Phil Mickelson. Not only was money up for grabs, but they were making side bets and talking about the game of golf in a way never before televised.

Well, now that Phil Mickelson has gone to LIV Golf and he and The Tour pros aren't really on speaking terms with him, it's time for others to step in.

This time around, close friends Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas will be teaming up to take on two of the game's greatest players ever in Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods. More importantly, it will be the first time we've seen Woods golf in months and The Match odds have him as the underdog.

The Match odds have Spieth and Thomas as a slight favorite over McIlroy and Woods, but can they pull it off at the 12-hole event? Let's take a look at the latest odds to try and find out.

Thomas and Spieth's odds currently sit at -110. At -110, sportsbooks have given the team an implied probability of just north of 52%.

As for Woods and McIlroy, Tiger will be an underdog on his first trip back to competitive golf (the term competitive is used loosely here). Right now, Tiger and Rory sit at +110, meaning their implied chance is just a little higher than 47%.
