The LIV Golf League has officially kicked off its first season debut at LIV Golf Mayakoba in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. This is the first tour of 2023 for LIV Golf, so there is a ton of excitement surrounding it. LIV Golf Mayakoba will feature a handful of world-renowned golfers.
In the first round on Friday, Paul Casey and Jason Kokrak finished with a tie for the lead at LIV Golf Mayakoba. They each shot six under and have a share of the lead heading into the second round.

LIV Golf Mayakoba tee times and groups
LIV Golf will utilize a shotgun start for its events, meaning that every player in the field will tee off at the same time. They will all begin play on different holes and complete the 18-hole course in order from there.
Round 2 of LIV Golf Mayakoba gets underway with a shotgun start at 1:15 p.m. ET. All 48 players will be in groups of three and starting on 16 different holes, so the entire day will be completed within 4-5 hours.
