NHL Odds: Weekend Sees 80% Of Games Go Under

Hockey finally returned at the weekend and there was one trend which really stood out to bettors across the country. 8 out of 10 games finished below the total over/under, something nobody saw coming.
If you'd have predicted that and selected the 8 matches to go under, then you could have turned a $10 stake into over $1700.
It's still unclear what's causing it, with some suggesting that the lay off could be to blame for the slow start.
Conversely, the NBA return saw a different trend, with games exceeding the over after it came back on Thursday.

On Friday all 6 games in the NBA's Orlando bubble went over, which forced a sharp rethink from sportsbooks who adjusted Saturday's games accordingly, adding an average of 3 points onto each game, with the Pacers game against the Sixers jumping a huge 6 points.
There was so awful defense played but there is also some suggestion that a lack of supporters, especially those in close proximity to the court, are making it easier to play, with no risk of landing on people.
