Stanley Cup Odds Breakdown
To no surprise, when looking at the Stanley Cup odds, the Colorado Avalanche are the clear favorites to take home the trophy. They lead the way at +350. Teams like Los Angeles, Nashville, Dallas, and Washington aren't given much of a chance given their first-round machups. Today, we'll be focusing on some of the teams towards the tops who the oddsmakers really like.
Avalanche Stanely Cup Odds +350 (Bet $100 to win $350)
Colorado is arguably the deepest team in the NHL. It should come as no surprise to see them leading the way when looking at the Stanely Cup odds. Colorado had four players finish with 80+ points this year and in net, Darcy Kuemper p[layed to a .921 save percentage.
They have the offensive firepower up front, play good defense, and get great goalie play. Last year they were knocked out by Vegas in the playoffs, will they be knocked out again in 2022 or will they get their revenge?
Panthers Stanley Cup Odds +550 (Bet $100 to win $550)
The Florida Panthers feature the best scoring team in the league with 338 goals. Aleksander Barkov, Sam Reinhart, Anthony Duclair, and Jonathan Huberdeau all netted 30 goals or more during the regular season from Florida. Their offense is why they find themselves second in the Stanely Cup odds.
In net, it's all dependent on which version of Sergei Bobrovsky they're getting. He's been very streaky this year and if they run into a hot goalie, it may be an issue for them.
Flames Staley Cup Odds +800 (Bet $100 to win $800)
According to the Stanley Cup odds, the Flames are the third most likely team to win the cup this year. Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk had monster regular seasons putting up 100 points apiece and in net, Jacob Markstrom was stellar. He finished with nine shutouts and a .9222 save percentage which brought him to a record of 35-17-9 in net this year for the Flames. If he gets hot they can go on a deep run in the playoffs.
