The Field +190 (Bet $100 to win $190)
The field is vague but essentially it's any other team except for Colorado. When looking at likely destinations, the Penguins if they let Evgeni Malkin walk could make sense. The Islanders with Lou Lamoriello (who was with Kadri in Toronto) would make sense, even the Rangers who may be losing Andrew Copp could be in the mix for a guy like Kadri.
Even on the wrong side of 30, someone is going to give him a big contract to score buckets of goals for their team. Plus, he's a solid two-way defender and is usually someone who is very solid on faceoffs as well.
Avalanche +340 (Bet $100 to win $340)
The Avalanche have such long odds to keep their guy Nazem Kadri because they have other players they need to take care of. For instance, they just extended Valeri Nichushkin and they very likely will do the same with Andre Burakovsky. If that's the case then Kadri will walk.
Sure, there's still an outside chance they choose Kadri over Burakovsky but age and price have to play a role in this and Burakovsky feels like the more likely choice to remain a member of the Av's.
