What is the best post position for the Kentucky Derby?

Historically, you want to be in post 5 – this is because it has produced the most winners and runner-ups! It’s also got the highest win percentage out of any draw. It’s obviously not an exact science, but if you’re looking at the perfect post position, then number 5 is your bet!

This is a good omen for Sainthood in 2021.

2021 Kentucky Derby Predictions

We like the longshot Known Agenda to win the 2021 Kentucky Derby.  The Todd Pletcher three-year-old has been really impressive in his last two starts and is progressing perfectly to peak for Saturday’s race.

Two starts ago, he won a claiming race by 11 lengths and then followed up in his Kentucky Derby prep by winning the Florida Derby by nearly 3 lengths storming home to defeat Soup and Sandwich and the odds-on favorite Greatest Honour.

Known Agenda’s Kentucky Derby odds currently sit at 12/1 and this looks the play in an open race.
