Kentucky Derby Odds: Second Favorite Epicenter the Most Backed Horse to win Kentucky Derby
The Kentucky Derby is only a few days away. That means, for now, the entire sports world has its attention on Churchill Downs and, more importantly, the Kentucky Derby odds.
Kentucky Derby odds were released on Monday when the final post position draw was also released to the public, and there were a few shockers in there, including which horse ended up being the favorite on the morning line.
Right now, according to Kentucky Derby odds, Zandon, trained by Chad Brown, is the favorite to win the Kentucky Derby. But, as we know, those odds will change once the Saturday morning rolls around.
Still, despite the hype surrounding Zandon and his Kentucky Derby odds, it's second favorite Epicenter that has been the most-backed horse so far to this point, according to the latest ante-post betting data.
Whose Kentucky Derby odds should you be backing? Let's take a look.

Second favorite Epicenter is 7/2, just behind Zandon, making this really a two-horse race at the top of the Kentucky Derby odds board. That's not to say that only those two horses stand a chance to win, but the oddsmakers clearly see them as a class above the rest of the field.
Next up, according to Kentucky Derby odds, is Messier. Messier is trained by Tim Yakteen and his 8-1 odds make him the third favorite at the 2022 Kentucky Derby. Messier is followed by a pair of 10-1 horses in Mo Donegal and White Abarrio, rounding out the top five of Kentucky Derby odds.
