On Monday we saw one of the best days of soccer in a long, long time! Switzerland shocked the soccer world by knocking out the EURO 2020 pre-tournament favorites France after a penalty shoot-out. Just hours earlier, Spain overcame Croatia in a 5-3 thriller after extra-time.

We have two more games left in the round of 16 which include England vs. Germany at Wembley. This game is certainly not expected to be quite as exciting as Monday’s incredible action, but with many unable to split the two, we can expect a very close encounter again.

England vs. Germany Odds: Bettors Can’t Split Teams In Huge EURO 2020 Clash

Looking at both sides routes through the group stages and there’s really more questions than answers for both England and Germany. England are yet to concede a goal, they finished top of the group and never looked like losing a game. However, they also struggled to create chances, their star player Harry Kane is yet to perform or score and they couldn’t even score against Scotland.

Germany looked good when defeating Portugal in their second game of the tournament, but struggled to get into the game when losing to France and could only scrape a last minute draw against Hungary in their final game to qualify.

As we said, we just don’t know much about either team yet! There’s positives and negatives on both team’s EURO 2020 performances so far.
