Manchester City +300
Last year, Man City was the runner-up to Chelsea and they’ve never won a Champions League in their history. After winning the Premier League in 2021, they are the favorite to do it for the first time this year. They are led by Berardo Silva of Portugal with seven goals on the season. He plays the most amount of minutes for any midfielder on the team. Their strong play in the group stage is part of the reason why they’re
Bayern Munich +400
If you’re looking for some nice value, Bayern Munich at +400 could be just that. They are a goal-scoring machine with 22 goals in their six matches in the knockout stage. They’ve been very good in the Premier League as they’re 11-1-2 and have an impressive +30 goal differential in those games.
Liverpool looked good as they won every fixture in Group B. They beat AC Milan 2-1 on Tuesday and looked to have put together a rather dominant effort in that match. So far in the Premier League, they’re 10-4-1 but their strong defense has allowed just 12 goals (0.80 per game) this season. If you’re a believer in defense wins championships then this is the team for you.
Paris Saint-Germain +750
PSG is the second-best team in Group A behind Manchester City. They seemed to struggle to find a balance of aggressiveness on offense and a sound defensive game. Still, if they’re able to figure that out they can be a dangerous team. Kylian Mbappe is a beast for them putting up seven goals and nine assists in 16 games this year.
Finally, to round out the top five is last year’s winner. Chelsea is looking to be the first team to win back to back since Real Madrid won three in a row from 2016 to 2018. Mason Mount is their leading scorer with Reece James not too far behind. It didn’t help their cause that they allowed a late goal against Zenit this week and didn’t win the group but still this is a quality team.
