Champions League Odds: Over 50% Of Bets On Chelsea Lifting Trophy Following Draw

Champions League Draw
Friday's Champions League hasn't seen any changes in the odds for the Champions League yet but that may change as bettors flock to wager on teams who they perceive to have had a better draw in the competition.
Chelsea appear to be the biggest winners with the betting public. They've been drawn against Porto in the quarterfinals, with Porto having the longest odds, by some margin, of any team left in the Champions League. This 'easy' draw has led to a huge amount of bets on Chelsea since the conclusion of the draw. 58.49% of bets have been on the West London team, who you can bet on at +1200.
Things will get harder for the Blues if they beat Porto, where they could face either Real Madrid or Liverpool. Neither of those teams are thriving domestically, with Real Madrid third in La Liga, having failed to win 10 games already this year. Liverpool's struggles are well known, with the Merseyside team 6th in the Premier League having lost 9 games in the league. They have their work cut out to make it to next season's Champions League although winning this year would qualify them automatically.
English teams dominate the betting with Man City the second most backed team, accounting for 18.87% of wagers. At +225 they've become clear favorites, having been tied with Bayern Munich for the majority of the season. They could meet Bayern Munich too, with the winner of Man City vs. Dortmund facing the winner of Bayern vs. PSG, where old and new money collide.
