How did Man City reach the Champions League final?

How did Chelsea reach the Champions League final?

Chelsea topped Group E with 14 points, finishing ahead of Sevilla, Krasnodar and Rennes. They stormed the group stages with two 4-0 victories over Sevilla and Krasnodar.

In the round of 16 they progressed after beating Atletico Madrid 1-0 away, and then 2-0 at Stamford Bridge in the second leg. 

They then faced Porto in the quarterfinal, winning in Porto 2-0, before a late goal for Porto got them a 1-0 win in London, meaning they went through 2-1 on aggregate.

The semifinal stage saw Chelsea face Real Madrid, the most decorated team in European soccer history, they dismantled the Spanish side in both legs, although a 1-1 draw in Madrid, and 2-0 win in London probably flattered Real Madrid, such was Chelsea's dominance.
