The standard of marquee signings in the MLS currently applying their trade in the league pretty dismal, prominently down the money knocking around in China. However, we can’t forget some of the soccer icons which have graced the league in the last decade. The likes of Ashley Cole, Wayne Rooney, Andrea Pirlo, Thierry Henry, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Zlatan Ibrahimović and David Villa have all moved to the US in the twilight of their career. However, all those names could be trumped if David Beckham can persuade Cristiano Ronaldo to make the step down to the MLS.

On paper this might seem very unrealistic given that despite Ronaldo being well into his thirties, he’s still arguably the best player in the world. However, online bookmakers don’t think this transfer rumour is complete madness

UK bookmakers currently have Inter Miami as second favorites in Cristiano Ronaldo’s next club odds market behind PSG. What’s even crazier, the odds of Ronaldo moving to Inter Miami imply there’s a 33.3% chance Miami could be his next destination.

Interestingly, La Galaxy are currently the third favorites in the betting market, their odds to sign Ronaldo sit at 5/1 (+500).

As mentioned, PSG currently lead the betting to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, and the odds imply there’s a 41.7% chance he could make the move the France.

Cristiano Ronaldo currently applies he trade at Juventus, who are +138 to win the Serie A. Ronaldo is +188 to be the top goalscorer in Seire A this season.
