The latest Manchester United transfer news on transfer deadline day.

Amad Traore joins Manchester United

It appears that Manchester United about to sign a right winger on transfer deadline day. Unfortunately for Man Utd fans that looks like it will be Amad Traore and not Jadon Sancho.

The 18-year old right winger, born in the Ivory Coast, is set to sign at Old Trafford from Italian club, Atalanta, following a proposed move to Parma falling through.

Will Jadon Sancho move to Manchester United?

Just last week bookmakers odds implied a probability of 60% that the young England international would get his move to Old Trafford. Sadly for fans, and Sancho himself, it looks like those hopes are fading fast.

Now Sancho is a best price of 11/2 (+550) to make the move from Dortmund to Manchester United, that implies a probability of just 15.4% that the transfer will happen in this window.

Manchester United suffered a humiliating loss to Spurs on Sunday and there had been hopes that they'd be able to bring in new talent but it looks unlikely that the England star will be amongst any incomings.

BREAKING: Arsenal could be about to sign Thomas Partey. Latest odds here.

Will Jadon Sancho leave Dortmund?

Bookmakers don't believe Jadon Sancho will leave Dortmund, with the odds of him staying in Germany now at 1/10 (-1000), which implies a 90.9% chance that he remains with Dortmund after this summer transfer window closes.

That's certainly the message that has been coming out of Dortmund too, with senior members of the club's hierarchy saying that he would not be leaving, having initially set a deadline on any potential transfer. They'll now be expecting him to continue where he left off last season and keep on playing at the high level which made him such an attractive option to Man Utd.

Will Ousmane Dembele join Manchester United?

Last week it also looked likely that Ousmane Dembele would join Manchester United as a backup option if they didn't secure the signing of Jadon Sancho.

The odds were as short as 1/3 (-300) which implied a 75% chance that the Barcelona forward would join fellow French internationals Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba in Manchester. Those odds have drifted to 6/1 (+600) that he moves to the red half of Manchester, a probability of only 14.3%.

Most bookmakers believe he'll remain in Barcelona but one potential destination is Manchester United's Premier League rivals, Chelsea, who at 5/1 (+500) are now more likely to sign the Frenchman.
