Nuno Espirito Santo Set To Leave Wolverhampton Wanderers At The End Of The Season

Wolverhampton Wanderers announced this morning that Nuno Espirito Santo will be leaving the club at the end of the season, making their game against Manchester United this weekend his last in charge.

Nuno Espirito Santo has been at the club since 2017, he guided the club back to the Premier League in his first season in charge, and finished 7th in the Premier League two years in a row.

Nuno Espirito Santo is held in high regard with Wolves supporters due to his success on the pitch, especially after the club reaches the quarter-finals of last seasons Europa League.

The former Porto managers departure has sparked all sorts of rumours, with many linking him with the vacancy at Tottenham.

The Tottenham manager role is still vacant, following Jose Mourinho's departure from the club in April. Nuno Espirito Santo has also featured in the next Tottenham manager odds market, but many believed it might be a struggle to get him to leave Wolves.

There's been no comment if Nuno Espirito Santo will end up at Tottenham, but the latest odds market suggests there's a strong chance he will find his way to London.

Yesterday Nuno Espirito Santo was +1800 in the next Tottenham manager odds market, which implied there was only a 5.3% chance he would takeover from Mourinho.

However, those odds are long gone, Nuno Espirito Santo is now -150 to take over at Spurs, which implies there's a 60% chance he will get the job.
