With Watford and Norwich set for Championship soccer next season already we have one more club left to join them. The third team to go down will come from one of Everton, Burnley, or Leeds United.
Leeds United Relegation Odds
Norwich City was the first team to suffer relegation, dropping down to the second division just one season after earning the promotion to the EPL. As things currently stand Everton remains 2 points behind Burnley and Leeds. Although Leeds is currently ahead of Everton, oddsmakers have Leeds United as the most likely club to be relegated when looking at the latest Premier League relegation odds. Leeds is given +137 odds right now or a 42% chance of being relegated.
Everton Relegation Odds
Everton walked away with a huge win today over Chelsea in which the Blues struggled to find the back of the net in a 1-0 defeat as goalie Jordan Pickford was the key catalyst in saving Everton from complete demise. Everton is just one of six teams to have never been relegated and today's shocking victory immensely helped their chances to continue that run. Looking at the EPL relegation odds Everton is now down to just a 36.4% chance to be relegated.
Burnley Relegation Odds
Burnley is the most in-form team of the three. The Clarets have played well in the month of April and their win over Watford put the nail in the coffin for Watford's relegation this season. According to oddsmakers, Burnley is the least likely of being relegated with just an implied 28% chance. Leeds United ended a 16-year absence from the top flight in 2020 but their concerns over relegation are only worse after its 4-0 defeat to Manchester City. Which increased their goal difference which is significantly worse than that of Burnley and Everton.
Everton has five games remaining on their schedule as Leeds and Burnley have four. This gives Everton more opportunities for points. Leeds has Arsenal and Chelsea next up in May so now might be the best time to place a wager on Leeds United to be the third and final team to be relegated this season.
