Cristiano Ronaldo Next Club Odds: Ronaldo Given 30% Chance to Join Bayern Munich

Cristiano Ronaldo has informed Manchester United that he wants to leave the club during the current 2022 summer transfer window. The 37-year-old global superstar is just one year into his second spell at Old Trafford and Man United. Ronaldo has another year remaining on his current deal. However, with new head coach Erik ten Hag taking over it appears the former Real Madrid and Juventus superstar sees his career elsewhere. The likely reasoning behind Ronaldo's decision is his desire to play Champions League soccer next season as Man United finished outside of the Top 4.

The question now is about which club he could sign for if he does indeed depart? Other Premier League sides could be in the mix, including Chelsea, while Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich are the early front runners according to oddsmakers.

Cristiano Ronaldo Next Club Odds: Bayern Munich (+225) (Bet $100 to Win $225)

The German giants Bayern Munich are the oddsmaker's favorites to land Ronaldo this summer if he were to depart from Manchester United. Bayern is given a 30% chance to land Ronaldo. With reports of Robert Lewandowski's desire to play at Barcelona, there would be an enormous void to be filled up front for Bayern. Ronaldo would be a perfect match here.

Cristiano Ronaldo Next Club Odds: Chelsea (+450) (Bet $100 to Win $450)

Chelsea is currently priced at +450 by the oddsmakers giving the Blues an 18% chance to sign Ronaldo. It was reported just last week on June 25 by The Atheltic, new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly met with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes and the future of Ronaldo was one of many topics discussed.

Ronaldo found success in Italy with Juventus, could he head back to Serie A? The most likely team in Italy is Roma at the moment, priced at +1000. Ronaldo's desire to play the Champions League would rule out a move to Jose Mourinho’s Roma though.

Oddsmakers believe Ronaldo to play in France for the first time with PSG has the same implied chance as Roma or a return to Real Madrid.

Perhaps he could look to return to his first club Sporting CP back in his home country of Portugal. He is given just a 5% chance to return home.

Last summer it looked like a move to Premier League rivals Manchester City was all but completed, could that interest resurface? Oddsmakers have a move to Man City priced at +5000, implying just a 2% chance.
