The 2021-2022 Premier League season finished in dramatic fashion, with Manchester City completing an incredible comeback victory on the final day to be crowned champions finishing just one point ahead of Liverpool. Man City will look to repeat in the 2022-2023 season, and oddsmakers have priced them as the early odds on favorite to do so.

Man City Premier League Title Odds

Manchester City is priced at -142 or an implied 58% chance they repeat this season. To no one's surprise, City is the odds on favorites before the season has even kicked off next Friday. They are winners of four of the last five seasons, and they made the addition of the summer across Europe when they inked superstar Erling Haaland. Haaland begins the season as the early favorite to win the Golden Boot. They did lose Raheem Sterling to Chelsea and Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal, but they surely have the talent to overcome that.

Liverpool Premier League Title Odds

Liverpool comes in second in Premier League Title odds with an implied 25% chance they win the league. Oddsmakers have them priced at +300 as we enter the season next weekend. The Reds nearly missed out on winning the quadruple last year, and they will have their eyes on revenge this season. They had one major departure this summer as Sadio Mane joined the German giants Bayern Munich this summer. This leaves a massive hole to be filled up front for Liverpool, but just like Man City, they have guys in line that will fit in, such as newly signed Darwin Nunez.

Tottenham Premier League Title Odds

Tottenham has the star power to compete with the best in the world in any match. Led by Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min, they can put the ball in the back of the net at any time. The Spurs are priced at +1400 or an implied 6% chance of winning the Premier League title for the first time since 1961. They made numerous additions this Summer with Ivan Perisic, Richarlison, and Yves Bissouma. There is plenty of optimism under Antonio Conte and the Spurs heading into the 2022 season.

Chelsea Premier League Title Odds

Coming in fourth on the Premier League winner odds grid coming into the season is Chelsea. The boys at Stamford Bridge finished third last season behind Man City and Liverpool, and they are eager to challenge for the title once again. Oddsmakers are giving Chelsea just a 5% chance of lifting the trophy at the end of the season, pricing them at +1600.

Last season was full of uncertainty as Roman Abramovich sold the club midseason. Now under new ownership and some stability under Todd Boehly, Chelsea, led by Thomas Tuchel, can focus on making a run at the title. With the additions of the aforementioned Raheem Sterling in attack for the loss of Romelu Lukaku and Kalidiou Koulibaly to fill a massive hole in the defense left by Antonio Rudiger, Tuchel has plenty of talent with the roster. There are still players that could be leaving the club over the next month, but there are also rumors of a push for a Cristiano Ronaldo signing as well.

Just as every year, the clubs that finish in the bottom three of the Premier League table at the end of the season will be relegated. Oddsmakers have priced the three newly promoted teams this season, Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest, and Fulham, as the favorites to be relegated at this season's end in the early Premier League relegation odds.

Only Bournemouth is given greater than a 50% chance though being priced -182 as we enter the season next Friday. This is an implied 64% chance Bournemouth will be relegated before the season even kicks off.

Leeds catches my eye here as they are priced next after the three promoted clubs at +230. They nearly escaped relegation last season as they finished just 3 points ahead of Burnley. Everton had one of its worst seasons in its history last year, and it's unlikely they come as close as they did in 2021-2022 to being relegated.
