Leeds United Odds: Odds of Jesse Marsch Delivering Top-4 Finish for Leeds Slashed

When someone says America's Team, which team do you think of? The Dallas Cowboys? Well, up until a few weeks ago you would have been correct. But, in the year 2022, America's Team is Leeds United.

If you didn't know, Leeds United is managed by an American, Jesse Marsch. Marsch played his entire career in the MLS and is from Wisconsin. He has been compared to the real-life version of Ted Lasso. But, the American connections don't stop there.

One of Leeds' best players is none other than midfielder Tyler Adams, an American. And their young attacker, Brenden Aaronson, is also from the States.

So, it makes sense that the USA has started to take a liking to Leeds. But, it doesn't hurt that they have seven points through three games and are coming off a massive win against Chelsea, 3-0.

But, do they actually stand a chance to have some success this year? If the latest odds are to be considered, the answer is yes.

Coming into this past Saturday, the latest Leeds United odds had at +10000 to finish in the top four of the Premier League, which would secure them a Champions League berth next season. Now, that number has been slashed by sportsbooks.

So, let's take a look at the latest Leeds United odds.

As you can see above, Leeds is far from winning the Premier League any time soon and to think they have a chance is foolish. However, their odds to finish in the top four and top six have been cut considerably of late.

Last week, Leeds United odds had them at +10000 to finish in a Champions League spot. Now, just a week later, that number has been cut in half to +5000. At some places, it's as short as +3300.

As for a top-six finish and a Europa League berth, those odds have been slashed as well. A week ago Leeds sat at +2800. Now, Leeds United is +1200 to finish within the top six.
