WWE Odds: Edge’s Royal Rumble odds have been drastically shortened, but fans are more keen on The Rock returning.

The Royal Rumble is only days away and the excitement in the Royal Rumble betting market is starting to build. Daniel Bryan remains the betting favorite in the market, with his odds implying he’s got a 47.6% chance of winning this years event.

However, the market has had some shake up over the last couple of weeks. Edge has been catapulted into second favoritism, his odds were around the +1000 mark just two weeks ago, however, his Royal Rumble odds have been cut to +250. Which means Edge’s Royal Rumble chances have increased from 9.1% to 28.6%.

Keith Lee was the second favorite in the Royal Rumble odds market just two weeks ago, however, his chances of winning have gone from 18.2% to 12.5%.

We reported a couple of weeks ago that Shinsuke Nakamura was attracted a lot of betting attention, and his odds of winning were still unbelievably long. However, in the space of two weeks his odds have been cut from +5000 to just +1400.

Unfortunately US residents can’t be on the Royal Rumble, however, there’s been plenty of betting on the event on our UK site, therefore all data is based from that activity. Even though you can’t bet on the Royal Rumble, online sports betting is legal in certain states in the US. Meaning you can bet on your favorite events like the Super Bowl, The Masters and the NBA.

Royal Rumble Odds: Updated Betting On The Royal Rumble

Daniel Bryan has been a popular wager in the market ever since it opened, and that remains the case. This week lone Bryan has accounted for 25% of wagers on the market.

However, the second most wagered fighter in the market is a lot more intriguing. Just over 13% of wagers have optimistically been placed on The Rock winning the Royal Rumble. Dwayne Johnson’s Royal Rumble odds sit +3300, which means he’s got almost as much chance of becoming the President in 2024. What a double that would be…

Edge is the third most wagered fighter in the Royal Rumble odds market, accounting for 11% of bets this week.

The betting on the likes of Tyson Fury, Conor McGregor and Pat McAfree has dried up a little, but there are still wagers coming in for these three.

Royal Rumble Predictions

The Royal Rumble is pretty hard to predict, Roman Reigns was +300 to win last year’s competition, which means he only had a 25% chance of winning.

However, Roman Reigns was the most popular option in the betting market in the month leading up to the fight.

Based on the theory and numbers above, Daniel Bryan is the bet to win the 2021 Royal Rumble, however, his odds don’t give you a huge return. Therefore, we are going to be wagering Shinsuke Nakamura. He’s been the second most wagered in the market, and his Royal Rumble odds still represent cracking value.
