Wyoming Sports Betting History
Wyoming first looked as though it would be barred from participating in legal online sports gambling. But, the Wyoming state legislature took a turn for the better in 2021 as they approved online sports gambling within the state.
On March 10, 2021, the Wyoming House of Representatives passed HB 133 to allowlegal online sports betting in the state. The same bill then passed the Wyoming State Senate, by a vote of 24-5, on March 29 of the same year.
On April 6, 2021, Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon signs HB133 into law, making online sports gambling legal in Wyoming and making it the second ever state in the USA with online-only sports gambling, joining Tennessee.
As of July 15, 2021, the application process to join the state of Wyoming as an online sportsbook is officially open.
