Ohio Sports Betting: Acme Fresh Market and Kroger Targeting Licenses

Grocery stores continue to add to their offerings, making them one-stop shops for all your needs.

In what may be the most surprising addition yet though, Ohio grocery chains, Acme Fresh Market and Kroger, are looking to add sports betting to your grocery shopping experience.

Reports suggest that last week, both Acme Fresh Market and Kroger applied for Ohio sports betting licenses, under Category C. A Category C license allows a maximum of two kiosks, where operators can take sports betting wagers.

Acme Fresh Market have been pre-approved for kiosks in 9 of their locations, and Kroger have been pre-approved in a whopping 42 sites.

Chances are, when you do your first Acme Fresh Market or Kroger shop, in 2023, you will be able to bet on the NFL, NBA and NHL as well.
