Move over NFL, NBA and MLB there's a new betting market in town. For the first time ever, bettors can legally wager on Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating contest this weekend!

Due to the current climate the competition has had a shake-up from previous years, with the main change being a dramatic reduction in competitors.

Chestnut has won a remarkable 12 out of the last 13 contests, and has been priced up as the short odds favorite in the men's category. Joey Chestnut is -1000 with Draftkings, which implies he's got 91% chance of scoring yet another win.
BetMGM currently has Joey Chestnut at +125 to eat over 74.5 Hot Dogs in the ten minutes allocated, which would beat his 2018 score and set a new world record.
There's also a GOAT in the women's category, Miki Sudo has won the contest every year since 2014. Unsurprisingly, Sudo's as short as -835 to win this year's event with Draftkings.
Miki Sudo's career best was 41 Hot Dogs back in 2017, she's -164 to eat over 40.5 in 2020.
If the excitement of people stuffing their faces with Hot Dogs wasn't enough, you can even wager on their being an eat-off! BetMGM are offering +900 for an eat-off to occur in the women's event, and +1100 in the men's.
