2021 Oscars Odds: Chadwick Boseman, Nomadland The Early Betting Favorites

With the Golden Globes happening tonight, we thought it'd be a good time to have a look at the latest betting odds for the Oscars and just how tonight's awards could impact these odds.

One thing that the Globes and Oscars have in common, is a common belief that Nomadland is going to have a huge awards season. We broke down the latest odds for the Golden Globes yesterday and Nomadland is the odds on favorite to win the Best Picture tonight and already the 10/11 favorite to win the same award at the Academy Awards.

One award that sees an even shorter favorite is the Best Actor, with Chadwick Boseman an overwhelming favorite at 1/4 to land the award. Boseman sadly died in August and no one would begrudge him winning this award for his incredible performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.

In the Best Actress market, there's joint-favorites, as the books can't split Carey Mulligan and Viola Davis. Could tonight's results at the Globes affect the Oscars odds here? It's worth keeping an eye on!
