WWE Survivor Series Odds: 91% Chance Roman Reigns Beats Big E

Survivor Series has long been one of WWE’s Big 4 pay-per-views, and this year doesn’t look much different. The event isn’t a stacked card yet but does contain some of the biggest matches WWE has had all year. What does WWE have in store for that major talent though? Oddsmakers have some ideas.

Men’s Survivor Series Tag Match

Team Smackdown are the favorites in this one. They’re given -175 odds, or a 63.7% chance to win this. However, it’s Team Raw’s Seth Rollins that all eyes should be one.

Rollins is given +800 odds, making him the second favorite to win the Royal Rumble this year. If WWE truly has plans for Rollins to win the Rumble, it means they’re going to give him a push to build him for the moment. Perhaps a sympathetic look at Rollins attempting to defeat Team Smackdown on his own.

It wouldn’t be the first time that WWE used the annual Survivor Series tag match to try and build or rebuild a star ahead of the Rumble.

Women’s Survivor Series Tag Match

Team Raw is the favorite here. They’re given -187 odds, or an implied 65.2% chance to win. This is something to keep an eye on, as WWE likes to split the champion versus champion and the tag team matches.

Last year, Team Raw won both tag matches, but Smackdown won the tag team, women’s, and World championship matches. So, the result of the two tag team matches could tell us how the rest of the card will look, and vice-versa.

If Smackdown wins both of these tag matches, look for WWE to make it up to Raw on the rest of the card.

Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair

Raw looks to get their first win in this one. Becky Lynch is favored at -200, or a 60.7% chance to win this Champion versus Champion match.

This is one of the easier matches to predict on the card. Charlotte is the biggest star in WWE’s women’s division, so a loss doesn’t hurt her. Meanwhile, a Lynch win would put one on the board for Raw, who’s favored to lose two of the other three matches on the card.

Big E vs. Roman Reigns

This is the biggest match on the card, and one WWE has to treat very carefully. Roman Reigns is the favorite to win the match at -1000, or an implied 91.0% chance. That’s unsurprising considering the push Reigns has received for the two years.

However, Big E is also emerging as a major star and can’t afford to take a bad loss here heading into WrestleMania season. So, WWE is walking on eggshells in this match.

This has the chance to be a match-of-the-year candidate or a huge dud that dims one of WWE’s few bright stars this past year.
