With 12 nominations, The Power of the Dog is clearly a film that the critics love. What makes this movie is the writing from Jane Campion (who will surely win Best Director) and the performance from Cumberbatch as the lead. It would be shocking if Cumberbatch won as oddsmakers give him just a 13.33 percent chance to Will Smith's 85.71 percent shot.
