2022 Emmys Odds

Outstanding Comedy Series

NomineeOdds
Ted lasso+450
Hacks+600
Only Murders in the Building+700
Barry+750
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel+900

Will Ted Lasso repeat in 2022? Well, the oddsmakers certainly think that it's a possibility. The odds give Ted Lasso the best chance to take home the award. It would be the first time since Veep that there would be a back-to-back winner in this category. When looking at who could potentially pull an upset, off this list I'd go with the past winner The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Outstanding Drama Series

NomineeOdds
Succession+400
Squid Game+550
Better Call Saul+800
Ozark+800
Yellowjackets+1000
Yellowstone+1150
Euphoria+1800

There are so many amazing shows in this category that it's difficult to come up with a prediction or pick. Succession won back in 2020 and Ozark is another show that is always in the mix here. For longshot plays, I would keep an eye on Yellowstone and the controversial yet wildly popular Euphoria.

Lead Actor in a Comedy Series

Nominee Odds
Jason Sudeikis+360
Steve Martin+450
Bill Hader+500
Donald Glover+600
Martin Short+600

How do you not go with Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso? I know it's the chalk answer, and I know he won it last year too but it just has to be him right? Both Bill Hader and Donald Glover have their fair share of Emmys under their belt already for Barry and Atlanta, it's Ted Lasso's time to shine still.

Lead Actress in a Comedy Series

Nominee Odds
Jean Smart+370
Rachel Brosnahan+500
Issa Rae+550
Kaley Cuoco+700
Quinta Brunson+1200

There are a few good choices here including last year's winner Jean Smart for her role in Hacks. I think my choice would be Rachel Brosnahan though from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. She won this award back in 2018 after a six-year run for Julia Loui-Dreyfus but I think there's a strong chance Rachel Brosnahan could get back in the win column.

Lead Actor in a Drama Series

Nominee Odds
Brian Cox+380
Jeremy Strong+400
Lee Jung-jae+450
Jason Bateman+650
Bob Odenkirk+750

This one is an extremely tight race (for now) according to the odds. While either of Brian Cox or Jeremy Strong would be great choices in Succession I don't know how you don't lean Lee Jung-jae for his performance in Squid Game. That took over the world by storm in 2021, that show needs some love from the Emmys and I think they can win one of their awards here.

Lead Actress in a Drama Series

Nominee Odds
Zendaya+390
Laura Linney+400
Jennifer Aniston+550
Melanie Lynskey+600
Jodie Comer+750

Yeah, I'm going to do it and go with the chalk answer in Zendaya. Euphoria is just so popular right now and she's the biggest star on this list. Yes, even over Jennifer Aniston, as much as it pains me to say, Zendaya has to win this award it seems too obvious and +390 is great initial value.
