2022 Emmy Odds: Ted Lasso Favored to Win Another Emmy For Best Comedy Series
The 2022 Emmy nominations were announced on Tuesday. In response, oddsmakers also released their updated version of 2022 Emmy odds.
Last year, Apple TV+'s Ted Lasso took the award ceremony by storm. This year, Ted Lasso is the favorite to win the Emmy for Best Comedy Series.
Lasso, starring Jason Sudeikis, chronicles the ups and downs of an American football coach attempting to manager a professional English soccer team. Its first season laid the groundwork while its second season, airing this past year, took the country by storm.
In total, there are eight Emmy nominees for Best Comedy series, which means there are eight different Emmy odds to bet on for the same category. The nominees are as follows:

As you see with the above Emmy odds for Best Comedy Series, Ted Lasso sits atop the table with +450 odds. Those odds are indicative of an 18.2% chance that the Apple TV+ comedy makes it back-to-back wins in this category.
Next up in this category is Hacks, a show I haven't heard of until this very moment but it apparently airs on HBO Max and stars Jean Smart. At +550, Hacks has a 15.4% chance to win the Best Comedy Series Emmy.
Rounding out the top three in this category is Barry, starring Bill Hader. I don't watch Barry but I have heard from those that do that this show has gone downhill in recent seasons, so it's a little shocking to see it as the third favorite, according to the latest Emmy odds.
