TikTok News: Khaby Lame the Favorite to be the Most Followed Account at the end of 2023
Khaby Lame became TikTok’s most-followed account in 2022 and is working on keeping his spot on top in 2023. Over the last two months, the influencer has managed to get over 2.4M followers, twice as many as his main competitor, Charli D’Amelio.

Lame’s TikTok account just reached 154.5M followers, but his fame will rise even more if the sportsbooks are to be believed. He’s now given -130 odds, or an implied 56.5% chance, to become TikTok’s most-followed account for a second consecutive year.
Charli D’Amelio is Lame’s clearest competition. The young social media star has been given -110 odds, or an implied 52.4% chance, to win the 2023 competition. No other TikToker is given much of a real chance to hit the target at the minute. The books offer +1200 odds or worse to everyone else currently on TikTok’s content creator’s top tier.
The gap between Charli and Khaby with the rest of TikTok is already well established, and that’s very unluckily to change in the short term. Now it all depends on these top two influencers, who are in very different situations. Lame is touching the right keys to expand his potential by joining Hugo Boss’ campaign, while D’Amelio needs to start making the most out of her 11.3B likes on her TikTok profile. Otherwise her haters could cause her to lose sight of Khaby.
