Desperate times call for desperate measures and in the absence of the NBA we've got to ask some big questions, and there is surely no questions bigger than "what would happen if those marbles raced again?"

You know the marble race we mean, it's been all over our social feeds in recent days, and despite first appearing years ago it's taken our imaginations by storm. We've decide to study the race, break down the form and give you the ultimate guide for any potential rematch. After tens, if not hundreds, of rewatches, I've analyzed every twist, every turn, every dynamic overtaking move, run it through my complicated modelling method, and have the worked out the betting odds for the rematch.

That first thrilling race was won by Comet, the marble we all took to our heart, but whilst the champ enters 2020 as favorite, it's worth reminding ourselves of the contenders.

Comet @ +200: The favorite and with good reason. The last race saw a masterful performance and going into a second race there is only one person you'd want to lump your last dollar on.

Reflector @ +350: Footage of the last race finished abruptly but it looked like Reflector was due to seal a sweet second spot, with that kind of form it's impossible to discount him.

Tarantula @ +400: Tarantula, the peoples champ is almost certain to be there or thereabouts come the end of the race. The fans will be roaring his name down the home straight and we have to believe this could be the bet to make.

The Flash @ +600: On name alone you'd have to consider a wager on The Flash, it screams high speed marble. Doubt it at your peril.

Pollo Loco @ +700: What came first, the chicken or the egg? It certainly wasn't this crazy chicken, who was in fourth spot when the camera cut. He made a late run last time out and there's every chance he could again.

Mocha Madness @ +800: Mocha Madness needed an extra shot of espresso after the first race and a sluggish performance which left fans disappointed.

Deep Ocean @ +800: You want an outsider? At 8/1 you need to be considering Deep Ocean, a good start in the first race saw Deep Ocean looking at victory, only to end up at the back of the field. There's real potential with this marble. One to watch.

Snakes Tongue @ +1200: Snakes Tongue certainly couldn't snake its way down the course properly first time and we're unlikely to see a victory in a hypothetical second race.

Dragons Egg @ +1600: Only mentioned once in the original race, we don't see Dragons Egg cracking the podium. Avoid this one.
