From a golf purists opinion, the Pro-Am at Pebble beach is one of the few events to be impacted in a positive way by covid this year.  The competition is spread over two courses rather than the normal three, and there's no celebrities taking part. 

Unfortunately, the PGA Tour was dealt a blow when betting favorite Dustin Johnson pulled out of the event earlier in the week. Which was great news for sharper bettors who had placed their AT&T Pebble Beach bets before the withdrawal. However, not so good for people looking for a wager today, as the betting odds of the remaining players in the field plummeted.

Patrick Cantlay has been installed as the favorite in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am betting market, with his odds sitting at +750 with William Hill and FanDuel. 

Daniel Berger, Paul Casey and Will Zalatoris are the only other three players in the field whose odds currently sit under +2000. 

Jason Day has been heavily tipped by many sharp operators in the betting world, the Australian's odds currently sit at +2100 to win this weeks PGA Tour event. 

Jordan Spieth looked to be back last week, which is great news for any golf fan. He was still pretty wayward off the tee, but the rest of his game looked in great form. Spieth finds himself relatively high up the odds market, with his AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am odds currently sitting at +2300 with FanDuel.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Betting Update

The betting favorite, Patrick Cantlay has been the most wagered player on the PGA Tour this week, just over 6.3% of bets have been placed on Cantlay winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am. 

Jason Day closely follows Cantlay, the Australian was available at much bigger odds in the week, but despite his odds shortening, the support for Day continues to flood in. In the last week, Jason Day has accounted for 5.3% of wagers placed in the AT&T Pebble Beach Prom Am odds market this week.

Big things are expected for Will Zalatoris on the PGA Tour, and he will propel himself further up the world rankings with a win here.  The young American has accounted for 4.3% of wagers at this weeks event. 

Peter Malnati and Andrew Putnam are in the top six most wagered players at Pebble Beach this week, both have odds over +70000 this week.
