The Australian Open is always one of the most anticipated events in the tennis schedule. Every year we are treated to a festival of great tennis action and this year is no different.

Well, that isn't quite true. While the great tennis is still being played, there are stark contrasts, with Covid-19 casting a long shadow over the event. Despite a number of stories about player unhappiness, the action is now underway and the men's competition has already reached the second round phase.

2021 Australian Open Odds - The Favorites

The mens competition is led by one very heavy favorite. We're used to seeing Novak Djokovic as the favorite and the Serbian is the best player in the world right now, although a price of +120 is very short.

After the Serb the next shortest price is the +440 on offer for Daniil Medvedev. Following the Russian are Dominic Thiem, +800 and the legendary Rafael Nadal at +850. It really is a huge leap after that, with the fifth favorite, Stefanos Tsitsipas an outsider at +1600.

2021 Australian Open Odds - Get A Risk-Free Bet With William Hill or BetMGM

With Novak Djokovic such a heavy favorite it's hard to win big on the mens competition but it could still be possible. Luckily our friends at William Hill and BetMGM are offering new players a risk-free bet when you join.

William Hill - $500 Risk-Free Bet

As mentioned, William Hill are offering all new customers a $500 risk-free bet to use this week, this means if your first bet loses, William Hill will credit your account with the stake.

That's an incredible offer and it allows you to take a real gamble with that opening wager. You could for example bet on the enigmatic Aussie Nick Kyrgios. At +4000 with William Hill you'd pocket a cool $2000 if he wins, and if he loses, then no fear, your account will be credited.

Here's how you claim:

1. Sign up at William Hill Sportsbook by clicking this link

2. Use the promo code ODDSFBRF

3. Make your first deposit, remember you get a risk-free bet worth up to $500.

4. Place your risk-free bet.

21+ Only, NJ, WV & CO Only.

BetMGM Sportsbook - $600 Risk-Free Bet

Just like William Hilll, BetMGM Sportsbook are offering all new customers a $600 risk-free bet which they can use on the PGA Tour. This offer is available in more states than the William Hill promotion above, which is good if you live in other legal states.

You could choose to bet on the Spanish sensation Rafael Nadal, who could roll back the years and deliver a vintage performance here.

Here's how to claim:

1. Sign up and deposit via this exclusive link

2. Download the BetMGM Sports app on iOS or Android, or visit betmgm.com

3. Place your first wager risk-free and receive up to $600 back in free bets if it loses.

4. If the bet does lose, your free bets will be available once the wager is settled!

21+ Only. NJ,IN,WV,TN,NV,PA,VA only
