Donald Trump’s chance of re-election is currently at its zenith, with the Republican now deemed more likely than not to retain the keys to the White House by all oddsmakers; As of Sunday morning, the lowest chance of re-election given by the books was 51.28%

Trump’s best price of -105 implies a minimum chance of 51.28% of re-election, with some oddsmakers giving him as high as 55.56%.

As evidenced by the graphic below, Trump’s chances have been steadily increasing since the nadir of his campaign on 27th January 2019, where he was given just 30.80% of securing a second term.

Despite a torrent of gaffes, controversies and outrages, the Republican candidate’s behaviour is proving no deterrent to bettors; he has consistently enjoyed 40-45% of the total bets placed on the market this year.
