Democrat VP Odds: Val Demings Now Second Favorite To Be Vice-President Nominee

The race to be Joe Biden's vice-president - or 'Veepstakes' as they're being called - continues to rumble on with Kamala Harris at the top of the pile.
However, in the past ten days oddsmakers' have cut the price of Florida Representative Val Demings from +3300 to just +600, making her the current best of the rest.
This seismic shift of odds have seen Demings implied probability of joining the Joe Biden ticket surge from just 2.94% to nearly 15% in under two weeks.
As previously mentioned, Harris remains the clear favorite with odds of +138 (42.11%) - meaning that a wager of $10 on Kamala to be on the ballot paper alongside Biden would net a profit of just $3.80 were it to come to pass.
Below, you can see how the odds have changed every day since the market was opened by UK bookmakers (where, unlike in the US, political wagering is legal, regulated and thriving!).
