PGA Championship Betting: Most wagered golfers since Monday

1. Xander Schauffele - 9.54% of wagers

After a T-6 showing in last weekend’s WGC Fed Ex St. Jude Invitational, it makes sense that bettors are going after Schauffele. He hasn’t won on Tour yet this season, but he has five top-10 finishes, including two second-place showings. The 26-year old is 11th in both the World Golf Rankings and the FedExCup Rankings. His best odds of +2000 are the sixth shortest in the field.

2. Brooks Koepka – 5.49% of wagers

Brooks is the co-favorite this week after answering injury questions at the St. Jude Invitational by finishing T-2. You could argue he should have won the event, but his late missteps haven’t scared bettors away this week. A win on Sunday would make it three straight PGA Championship titles for Koepka, with his first coming in 2018.

3. Daniel Berger – 4.17% of wagers

Berger may not be one of the more high-profile names on Tour, but he’s been playing sensational golf since the restart. He won the Charles Schwab Challenge by defeating Collin Morikawa in a playoff, and has two other top-three finishes since play resumed. His 10-under performance last week, capped by a Sunday 65, has moved him all the way up to eighth in the FedExCup rankings. His lone blemish came at The Memorial, where he missed the cut.

4. Jason Day – 3.63% of wagers

The restart wasn’t kind to Jason Day at first, but he’s picked up his play the last three weeks, and bettors have responded accordingly. Day has put up three straight top-10 finishes, including a T-6 at the St. Jude Invitational. The 2015 PGA Championship winner’s best odds are the 12th shortest in this week’s field.

5. Tommy Fleetwood – 3.49% of wagers

We haven’t seen much of Tommy Fleetwood since golf has returned. Since June, He’s played in just two tournaments, missing the cut in the 3M Open before a T-35 showing last week. Bettors seem to like his value this week. He has two 2nd place finishes in majors in his career, coming in the 2018 US Open and the 2019 Open Championship.
