2020 Election Odds: More UK Sportsbooks Favoring Trump Than Biden
The 2020 Presidential Election has been a back-and-forth affair, especially in the eyes of the UK oddsmakers who are responsible for pricing it up.
For a while this summer, Democratic nominee Joe Biden looked to be pulling away from President Donald Trump. At the start of August, Biden’s best odds of -162 implied a 61.8% chance he would win the presidency.
As of Tuesday, Biden and Trump have the exact same best odds to win the presidency, +100, and Trump is the favorite with more UK sportsbooks than Biden.
Out of the 14 sportsbooks with 2020 US Presidential Elecion odds markets available on the Oddschecker UK site, six have President Trump as the favorite, five have Joe Biden as the favorite and three give the two the same odds of winning the election.

Not only is Trump trending in the right direction in the eyes of the oddsmakers, but he’s also the preferred bet among the betting public.
In the last month, 63.2% of bets between he and Biden to win the 2020 Presidential Election have backed the current President of the United States.
