2024 Presidential Election Odds: Donald Trump Receives 63% of Bets in Last Week

While the 2020 election feels like a not-so-distant memory, the reality is that we’re already closer to the next presidential election than we think. The heated matchup between Donald Trump and Joe Biden may still be fresh in our mind but what about the next one?

Well, that name Donald Trump isn’t going away. Not only is Trump the favorite to win the election in 2024, but he’s also received a hefty backing of bets recently.

Now, in the United States, it’s not legal to place wagers on elections but over in the UK, it’s still a popular thing that happens. Still, we’re able to see the data on those bets and it looks like he’s been a betting favorite amongst those placing wagers.

In the past week, the number of bets on the 2016 winner has increased dramatically. Donal Trump has received 63 percent of bets made on the 2024 election over the last seven days. Earlier this month, he was receiving 55.81 percent of the bets but that has since increased dramatically, and we’ll track if that continues. Other popular bets include Joe Biden, Ron DeSantis, Mike Pence, and Tucker Carlson.

Yes, Donald Trump has now surpassed Joe Biden as the betting favorite. Oddsmakers are implying a 25 percent chance of Donald Trump winning the 2024 presidential election while Joe Biden, who currently holds the office, is given a 16.7 percent chance of remaining in power.
