Just a short time later it's now Mordaunt with that title.
2. Rishi Sunak - 29%
I'm not sure it's anything Sunak has really done that has dropped him out of the top spot. However, as the next British Prime Minister market has matured it's clear that Mordaunt has put space between herself and Sunak. Sunak, the former Chancellor of the Exchequer, now finds himself needing to make up ground. Originally, it looked like Ben Wallace would be Sunak's stiffest competition. Now, with Wallace taking his name out of the race, Sunak is still playing catch up.
3. Liz Truss - 10%
Liz Truss is quite a way down this top three. Despite her odds being just a bit longer than Sunak's, she's 19 percentage points behind him when it comes to next British Prime Minister odds popularity. Truss has been a member of Parliament for Suffolk West Norfolk since 2010 ans has served as Foreign Secretary since 2021. If the betting market is to be believed, she's not truly part of the two-horse race at the top.
