MLB Picks & Parlays Thursday 06/06
Thursday sees a day packed with afternoon baseball. However, there are five good evening games, with good value in three of those.
Here are Today’s MLB Picks:
This is an interesting game because we have seen two contrasting games in this series so far. The first saw 23 runs scored and the second just three. This game appears to be a pitching mismatch, with Ariel Jurado having yet to allow more than two earned runs in a single outing. On the other side David Hess a 7.36 ERA and has allowed 24 earned runs in his last four outings. The Rangers have won 11 of the last 16 against the Orioles at home, averaging 6.3 runs per game in those games. I like them to get up big against the Orioles in this one and hold off one of the worst teams in the majors.
1u – TEX Rangers -1.5 @ +114
This matchup sees two pitchers with ERAs over four go head to head, off the back of a 19 run explosion last night. Mike Fiers has struggled at times this season away from home, allowing over five earned runs a handful of times. Tyler Skaggs has also had his struggles this season. Generally he has been better at home but this game should have a lot of scoring and be a lot of fun.
1u – Over 9.5 Total Runs @ -105
This is a contest between two pitchers who have generally been really good this season. Both have had their wobbles but both have ERAs under 4. Joey Lucchesi is on a solid run, having allowed three or less earned runs in all of his last five outings. Patrick Corbin has had the odd tough outing this season, but seemingly always bounces back to produce the goods. He was hit hard last time out so I’m expecting a big performance this time out.
1u – Under 4.5 Runs First 5 Innings @ -150
