MLB Picks & Parlays Friday 07/26
Friday sees all 30 teams in action, and all packed into a fun evening slate on the West Coast. There are some really good game, but some big values stand out immediately to me.
Here are Today’s MLB Picks:
This should be a really good game, not least because anytime we get to see Luis Castillo is well worth watching. At home this season Castillo has a 1.67 ERA with an opposing batting average of .155 and a .219 slugging percentage. However, the result here is hard to call because who knows which German Marquez will turn up. Hopefully, we get the version who has allowed just a 3.25 ERA on the road this season, with an opposing batting average .198. For that reason, I am going to look to the under in this matchup.
1u – Under 8.5 Total Runs @ -111
This line just seems off to me. Both teams have had the under hit in their last five games. Mike Soroka has a road ERA of 1.13 this season, and Jake Arrieta is solid with a 4.25 home ERA. With the weather in Philadelphia also leaning towards pitchers, it seems like a good pick to take the under 9.5 in this one.
