MLB Picks: Sunday Major League Baseball Parlay
3-Team Parlay - $50 Bet Wins $218.91
Miami Marlins vs. Philadelphia Phillies
(2u) Phillies to win @ -145
- Jose Urena has a 4.27 career ERA against the Phillies
- Urena hasn’t recorded a win against the Phillies since 2018
The Phillies' bats finally came alive Saturday, thanks in large part to a 3-run blast from J.T. Realmuto. Adam Haseley makes his 2020 debut for the Phillies, batting first, and should provide a spark at the top of the lineup.
Phillies starter Vince Velasquez has been known for his ups and downs, but the Phillies have had consistent success against Urena.
I see a high-scoring affair here, with the Phillies’ bats overwhelming the Marlins lineup. I toyed with Phillies on the run line, but will take them straight up instead.
Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago White Sox
(2u) Twins to win @ -150
- Reynaldo Lopez has given up 7 home runs and 17 XBH to Twins hitters
The Twins/White Sox series has been awesome through the first two games with tons of back-and-forth play. I just think Kenta Maeda is a class above Reynaldo Lopez, and will prove to be the difference on Sunday.
Lopez has struggled against Twins hitters in his career, and in Maeda’s only lifetime start against the White Sox, he allowed one earned run through five innings in a win.
Max Kepler, Josh Donaldson, Jorge Polanco and Nelson Cruz give the Twins huge power at the top of the lineup and should be able to punish Lopez.
-150 is steep, but I have a lot of confidence in the Twins today.
Atlanta Braves vs. New York Mets
(2u) Braves to win @ -110
- Freddie Freeman is hitting .455 lifetime against Rick Porcello
It’s been a little surprising to see the Atlanta bats get off to a slow start in 2020, but a Marcell Ozuna game-tying homer in the ninth saved the Braves from opening 0-2 after they won it in extras.
I don’t have much confidence in Rick Porcello on the mound for the Mets, and I think the Braves will be able to build on yesterday’s thrilling win.
I’m also looking forward to seeing the power arm of Sean Newcomb on the mound for Atlanta, and think he could give the Mets issues.
